About Kaziranga
Kaziranga is a landscape of tall grass, wetlands and forest on the Assam floodplain, known for its greater one-horned rhinoceroses. A private naturalist helps you read the habitat and notice birds, deer and other wildlife alongside the rhinos. Tea, Mountains and Rhinos proposes three nights by the park, with safari sessions balanced against river and tea-garden outings. Permits, park operations and conditions determine the final programme.
Best time to visit: Generally November to April, with reopening dates checked each year after the monsoon. Flooding and local conditions can affect access.
