What every journey is built on.

Designed routes, private departures
We start from journeys we have already thought through, then change what you like. Every departure is private and travels on your dates.

Private support is the baseline
Your own car and chauffeur, private guides, a personal welcome at each arrival and someone to call throughout are part of every journey, not an upgrade.

Hotels chosen for the role they play
A few defining stays give a journey its shape. Around them we choose characterful, well-located places rather than the grandest room in every town.

Local expertise, with time
The right specialist in each place, whether a historian, a naturalist, a cook or a maker, and enough time for curiosity and conversation.

Pacing protects the experience
Fewer moves and longer stays where they matter. A journey that leaves time to be somewhere, not only to see it.

Pricing is indicative until it is yours
Every published price is a starting point with its assumptions stated. Your proposal is priced against your dates, rooms and inclusions; festive periods are quoted individually.
The process
From a conversation to the journey itself.
There is no checkout on this site. A private journey is a considered purchase, and we treat the process that way.

A conversation
Tell us how you like to travel: your pace, your interests, who is coming, and the moments you most want. A short questionnaire or a call is enough to begin.
- 02
A first design
We come back with a route, proposed stays and a realistic price, usually starting from one of our designed journeys. It is a starting point for discussion, not a brochure to accept or decline.
- 03
Refinement
Rooms, guides, experiences and pacing are refined together until the journey feels entirely yours, and the price is confirmed against your final design.
- 04
The journey itself
Private transport, expert guides and on-call support throughout, so that you are free to simply be there.
Who you will work with
A founder-led studio.
Wellington & Grant is small by design. The person who listens to how you want to travel is the person who designs your journey, and the one you can reach while you are in India.
We would rather design fewer journeys well than many journeys quickly. That is also why we begin with a conversation rather than a booking form.
