About Wellington & Grant
A personal way to travel through India.
Wellington & Grant is a private travel company specialising in tailor-made journeys through India. We design individual journeys around each traveller’s dates, interests and pace, bringing together exceptional stays, private guides, chauffeured transport and carefully chosen experiences.
Who we are
Thoughtful design. Personal service.
We bring the many parts of a private journey together into one considered itinerary. The route, the stays, the people you meet and the time between places all matter. Our role is to help you choose what belongs in your journey and to arrange the details so you can enjoy it.
Our service is intended for international travellers who value cultural curiosity, comfort and the freedom of travelling privately. We welcome couples and families, including travellers visiting India for the first time and guests coming from the United States.
A private departure means your own dates and your own travelling party. A tailor-made journey means that the itinerary responds to you: your interests, the accommodation you enjoy and how much you want to do each day.
How we design
Begin with what moves you.
We begin with a conversation about your dates, who is travelling and what you hope to experience. You might start with one of our journey ideas, or with a place, a season or an interest. From there, we shape a route and refine it with you before you commit.
Accommodation is chosen for the part it plays in the journey. A defining palace stay can sit alongside an intimate heritage house or a thoughtfully chosen forest lodge. We consider setting, character, service and practical connections, rather than choosing the most elaborate hotel for every night.
Private guides offer a deeper understanding of each place, while chauffeured transport and planned transfers connect the journey. We leave room for unhurried discoveries and provide on-call support while you travel.
Published journey prices are indicative from-prices. Your proposal is individually quoted for your dates, rooms and inclusions; festive pricing is available on request.
